Mystery 22 short magazine

A friend of mine found two of these magazines in a family home he was clearing out.  The gun was missing and he has know idea what brand they are or what they fit.  If any of you have an idea let me know.  They are 6 shot magazines that hold only 22 short cartridge's.  The only markings are "P.B 22 short made in Italy.  They seem well made.

Just a follow up, I put these magazines on flee bay and they sold for 305 dollars for the pair of them.  Go figure. Thanks for the help
