Marvel .22 conversionon on Colt National Match 38 special Mid Range

I have chance to buy a Marvel .22 conversion..is it possible to fit on my Colt National Match 38 special Mid Range?

I think the bump on the feed ramp will prevent the conversion barrel from seating properly.

Yup, there’s a bump on the feed ramp/barrel “seat” that will make your life difficult.

But, can’t it be ground off!!

I've been meaning to measure for a long time to see how much of the Marvel feed ramp bottom needs to be trimmed to clear the added feedramp extension on 38 1911's. Have encountered this on old Clark 38's.
