Stapler hack

Im sure everyone on here knows this.. but just in case.  I was at the range yesterday and the shooter next to me and I were talking when we were changing targets.  i mentioned that I needed to add staples to my gun.  He asked me how I knew.  I take a marker and color the top of the last 1/4 inch or so of staples so when I see a staple that has been colored I know I'm near the end.  If you don't do this, its really helpful.

I just learned that trick last Summer...

Which made me feel dumb for not figuring it out myself...

Or just get the blue clipboard Champion's Choice sells that has storage built in. I can carry several pens, a box of staples, overlays and pasters in there. No more getting out to the target only to have to go back for staples.

Great tip. I’ve done this for quite a few years and mention to other shooters from time to time.  Works pretty well until I try to go too far on E..
