Hammerli 208 recoil spring

Looking for spare recoil springs for my 208 and Red Feather doesn't list them.
Is there a replacement spring and where can I buy them?

Red Feather is probably between batches. I just got one earlier this month.

They only list items that are in stock, so check back occasionally, or send them an email and ask when they are expected in.

Interarms made some based on one I got from Larry.  Don't hold me to their still doing that.  Alan sent me some but I have not tried them.  I know nothing else about them

Red Feather on left, Interarms on right.

Bought the Interarms when Red Feather was out of stock.


My 208s wouldn't cycle the slide back far enough to eject the case with CCI SV using the Interarms spring. (heavier wire) 

Installed the spring from Red Feather when they were available again and all was good again.

Just an FYI, YMMV

Was the Interarm's spring the reduced recoil or standard recoil spring? I saw where they have both.
The shorter Interarms spring might be a reduced recoil spring.

The interarms spring was a standard spring.

Thanks for this information. I bought years ago the standard and still on package. I will buy from red feather, they are trusted hammerli parts dealer.

I have a new reduced weight spring. It’s yours if you want it. Sold my Hammerli a few years back and have no use for it.
