Aim tech scope mount

Does anyone have any experience or opinion on the aim tech scope grip mount for the 1911?

Of grip mounts they are the best, however a dedicated frame or slide mount is much better for long term use.

I've used one on a R1 Remington with good results. Not the greatest grip surface.
I used the main spring and hammer pin replacement pins and it didn't come loose.
I tried it on my R O but the target sights won't clear it.
