Wandering zero Empty Wandering zero

Post by hengehold 2/11/2024, 7:48 pm

I am using an Aimpoint Micro on my 1911 during a weekly BE league and my 25yd zero seems to have shifted a couple of times over the past several months. On the timed fire target it went from a centered zero to centered on the 9 ring. This has happened twice now while shooting about 1k rds. I can’t recall if it keeps moving in the same direction or if it shifted up then down. Anyone else experience this kind of thing?

Assuming you are using the standard picatinny mount for the dot; check to verify the torx attaching it to your rail is tight, next check to verify that your rail has not loosened up. If it is not either of those open a ticket (RMA) with Aimpoint. I had a dot completely fail a while ago and they fixed it and shipped it back to in in under a week.
