Sight adjustment screw pitch?

In another post about iron sight adjustments methods....

What is normal screw pitch for US made guns?  48tpi? 56?
Same for bomar or springfield or ruger?
Same for windage as well as elevation?

Pipe up if you know.

Bomar was 48 tpi windage and elevation

Windage 13 clicks
Elevation 18 clicks

I can see a project this winter turning sight screws and measuring with dial indicator.  Don't think my eyes can see a screw pitch gauge that small.  Anyone know Ruger revolver sight screw pitch? Same for their MkII/III

Both screws are 6X48 on factory MKIIs

So do you know thread pitch on common sights?  Smith, Springfield, etc.  Most are 48 tpi?
What ever Nelson/Marvel are using for their iron sights?

S&W revolver looks like 80 pitch on a number 3 screw..Toolmakers micro scope.. 10 threads in .125 computes to 80 pitch. I don't ever see many Springfields..No Marvels in the shop presently... and the ones that were here were scoped with dots..
