I will start loading 9mm for a 1911 soon. Any load data (bullet, powder & COAL) that you could share would be greatly appreciated to shave some time off my work. Thanks in advance.

there is a lot of good info here:

https://www.bullseyeforum.net/t5400-9mm-service-pistol-load-questions

but it depends somewhat on the barrel you are using. If you have a Kart barrel you could also try the Hornady 147 XTP bullet.

Ok, I've just been told by a couple of Border Patrol PPC shooters that they are using 115 gr JHP (HAP) and 5.1 gr Silhouette for their 50 yd loads.

What JIMPGOV says has also proven itself.

What he says about OAL would probably work with the Silhouette loads too...

Although not stated, he's primarily looking for loads for lead bullets. Pretty easy to get jacketed to group, but lead is a challenge.

Thanks for the links and replies guys. I spent some time testing 250 rounds of my home cast 95 grain RNFP, 120 TC and 125 RN (all powder coated) projectiles, over the weekend. Results were all over the map as projected for new load work ups. I still have a LOT of development testing to go before I can share my results. Unfortunately I don't have any 115 jacketed ammo to test but I will likely add those pills to the mix sooner or later. I was just hoping to find some lead loads that would shoot decently in an effort to lower my overall shooting costs.
