I received great info on getting my 52 trigger pull right. Thanks. Can someone now tell me how I get that 41 trigger pull pin to move?!?!? That thing will not budge. Its a mid 80's pistol bought used that probably hasn't been worked on in quite a while. I did a pretty good detail cleaning of it a while back but stopped at the trigger.

It's a bugger to move. I dinged my pin up toying with it. If you don't care for looks - beat that thing out... Or what's wiser and probably less harmful to the pin and frame is to send it to some one like KC and have a trigger job done on it. Really those steps don't increase or decrease the trigger weight by much.

Probably not what you wanted to hear. I didn't like hearing it when I asked your same question. But I'm stubborn and the gun already looked like crap (previous owner neglected it or abused it or both) so I went for it. No guts no glory right!? I have much to learn... I did not harm the frame as far as I can tell. The pin however is missing the bluing where I drove it out from. The only thing I had that would do it was a steel punch. Not a good idea. Should've used brass but the steel was all I had that fit that small of a pin/hole. So I used it. What ever you decide.... Be careful.

Yup, talked to KC earlier today. I'm sending it in. Aside from being a little heavy the trigger seems squishy for lack of a better term.

I haven't had any work done by him or been able to see in person a gun he's worked on but from what I hear you'll be very pleased with his work. I've spoken to him on the phone a couple of times and he's easy to talk to and shoots you an honest answer.
