It weighs 13.6 oz, thats almost 10 oz more than a 1'' ultra dot plus the 60.00 higher price tag. I cant see any advantage to it at all in bullseye, its only claim over other dots is it says its brighter but ive never not been able to see the dot on any ultradot, even at camp perry in the bright sunshine.

Ok, guess amazon was wrong, here is what they list; Maybe they meant boxed for shipment, in that case to me it would still be on the heavy side.
Technical Details

  • Fully Multi-Coated Lenses: Increase light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces.
  • One-Piece Tube: Maximizes strength and waterproofness.
  • High Recoil Caliber Rating: Tested with .375 H&H Magnum for 1000 rounds.
  • Adjustable Dot Intensity: Provides ten variable
illumination settings to increase or decrease dot brightness according
    to viewing conditions.
  • Night Vision Mode: Sets the brightness to the lowest possible level-will work best with most night vision devices.

Product Dimensions

  • 3.8 x 2.9 x 7.5 inches ; 13.6 ounces
