Pachmayr Pistol Box Questions

I just picked up a vintage 4 gun Super Deluxe box and it unfortunately did not come with a key. Does anyone know of a source for keys for these boxes? My understanding is that there are only a couple different keys used for these boxes.

I bought one with the same issue.  Noticed that the key hole looked very similar to some old luggage keys.  Tried 4 old luggage keys.  3 of the 4 worked for my box.

There is a number stamped on the lock.  Mine says "151" and that's the most common one.  My back hatch is "6k11" Search on Ebay for "Excelsior 151" and "Excelsior 6k11" and you should be all set.

And if not, you can do what I did.  Just hammer an abandoned key thin enough, Dremel the right size grooves in it with a heavy-duty cutoff wheel, and then grind a tab on the thing.

That's if it's like my Mom's box, with a simple warded key. Pin tumblers are a bit more...involved.

Mine says 151 on the front and the back is unmarked. Not too worried about locking the back, so will look for a 151 key. Thanks.
