S&W rear sight

In search of a complete rear sight for a S&W 52-2. Got a good deal on it and now I know why, but at the time I didn't think it would be a problem to find the parts I need. The gun does have the base of the sight only. I have contacted S&W and they don't make these sights anymore and only have a few of the parts that make up the complete sight. I have checked on Gun Broker.com and Brownells and ebay and some other places with no luck. If anyone can help with parts or other suggestions I would appreciate it.

The same sight was used in the short barrel 41s in the same time period..still hard to find parts.

I just contacted EGW about their mounts after I found an older post here. I was told about the 41 mounts and have been looking in that direction also. Thanks for the help.

Check BME they got all kind of mounts for a S&W 52 .

It looks like BME has a mount that will work if I can't find the complete rear sight.

That's a pretty good price on the 52-2. Do you by chance have another sight for this gun?

I have complete 41 rear sights minus the base.

Is it from an older 41 with short barrel? 5 1/2" barrel I believe.

I took the rear sight off my 5-1/2" mid 1980's S&W M41.  It's the same rear sight as used on my 52-2.  I was looking to put a reflex mount on the rear dovetail of my 41 and trying to figure out if the EGW 52-2 mount would work.  The dovetail is the same, but the mount requires some material removal because of the barrel profile.  Here's the thread I started (FWIW): https://www.bullseyeforum.net/t9022-sw-model-41-rear-sight-dovetail

I don't have the rear sight for sale, but can add some photo's if that would help.

Thanks Stan for the info. I'm probably going to end up with a reflex mount from BME they seem to one that will work best for my application. If I could find a complete rear sight I would go that route however. Just gonna keep looking I guess I'm not in any hurry.
