Anyone have the new Nelson with combo rib

ive been looking at this real hard.  I’d be curious on thoughts.  I’m in love with my advantage arms..but so is my son....soooooo. Hehe.  I think another might be in the works.  Pics etc would be awesome

I got the combo rail from Nelson at Perry. Aimpoint with a Larue quick release. Seems to hold zero well. Very convenient.

Mike got lucky. Talked to Larry yesterday, and their manufacturer cut the front sight post incorrectly on their current batch. They have new front sights arriving this week, getting finished next week, hopefully shipping the following!

Yes, I like the weight. 3 1911s set up as similarly as I can get them. Slab grips, short triggers with trigger shoes, 4 MOA Aimpoints.

Did that quick release come from Nelson as well ?

No. That’s from Larue. Made for the Aimpoint. Model LT661.

Forgot to ask, with that combo rib...could that be used in Cmp?  With irons only?  I thought I read irons could not have rib?

CMP allows it in 22. They’re more strict for service pistol.
