.38SPL brass jam
.38SPL wadcutter fired in a S&W Model 52-2- Brass separated at the lower cannulure, and ejected. The other 3/4 inch of brass is stuck in chamber. Looking for ideas on how to extract. It is stuck good (or is it very well?)
Chamber reamer would be nice if I had one.
Ideas? Heat? Solvents? Tricks?

Oversize bronze brush. Push it in partway, and pull it back out. The reversing bristles should grab it.

The brush trick should work. If it does not, buy some Cerrosafe from Brownells and proceed like you were doing a chamber cast. The broken brass will come out with the cast.
