Federal .22 in CMP Estore

First topic message reminder :

CMP listed "Federal" .22 in their estore for $354/5000. Though they are calling it "Federal", their FB page announcement shows a photo of CCI SV and the estore description lists it as part number 35, which I believe is the part number for CCI SV.

Wondering if this is the case....?

CCI SV seems to be in the pipeline, many online resources showing full case availability ... Palmetto, Midway etc.  Anyone receive their CMP order from the September offer yet???

I don't expect to see mine before the 1st of the year.  I ordered on Sep 20.

Well, Federal, CCI, whatever it ends up being... just curious if Rich got it. I ordered a case in the middle of September, but I'm not really expecting it until December/January.

Yes it was CCI from the CMP. The boxes were a little damaged but I think that was UPS's fault.

Here is a little tip if your club has a junior program, then you can order up to 11 cases for the club and I think it comes a little faster.

My card just got dinged for my case. Naturally that would happen when I needed it to be on next month's statement, but hey, at least it is on the way.

Looks like my card just got charged as well. Good signs for all!

Mine also.

I got my CMP order in this week, CCI SV. Looks to be fresh production as the boxes have the latest logo. I haven’t shot any yet, rotating older production out first.

Placed an order on 22 Sept. and am good 
with my STD. Vel. for another few months.
I am limiting practice and will continue to do so 
until this " shortage" is over.

Has to be an affiliated club, usually the person in charge of the affiliation at the club has a the club number which is needed to do a transaction.

Thankfully the wife answered the door. The Fedex guy wanted a birthdate to make the delivery of ammo. First I heard of that....?

So how long was it between the notice saying shipped and actual delivery?  I am sort of upset there is no tacking info shown on the CMP website.

The answer might be quite simple, - I think, CMP shipped latest orders with "Adult Signature Required".

Funny how that works.  Every ammo/hazmat shipment I've received from CMP and elsewhere has the adult signature requirement.  However, I've only had one driver actually require one.  I've even had some left on my doorstep.  Fortunately, crime hasn't reached where I live (knock on wood).

COVID procedures allowed drivers to just sign for the customer.  I'm betting they do that, even when they leave the parcel on the doorstep.  Could get interesting, if the parcel was stolen.  It has to have happened somewhere.

Actually there is

Go to your CMP online store account.
Click on invoice history then on the question symbol
At bottom of screen is the tracking #

CMP used to send shipping notification emails, but I never received one associated with this ammo order. It just showed up one day. I even checked my junk email folder. It sat as a pending charge on my CC for a while.

I ordered an M1917 barrel from them a while back and they had that marked as requiring adult signature as well. Tough to sign for stuff when you and your wife work. Would be easier if Fedex/UPS/USPS had regular delivery schedules, but they don't here and there are always different folks delivering.

Just left it on porch.
