I had this beast done, to compliment a .38 and a .22 all st up the same. Why? Why not.

Shilen Match .451 1x16 barrel. Works by Sandy Garrett. Northern Virginia Gun Works Inc

Today was first time shooting it. Did not have time to RR it so just from bench with sand bags.

Using -

Zero 185 gr JHP with 4.6 WST it shot about 2.5" at 50 yds. I think it will do better, since the stringing was more horizontal than vertical.
Brazos 200 gr Hi tek coated SWC with 4 gr WST it shot about 2.75" at 50 yds. Same as above horizontal stringing. Most likely my horizontal movement .

At 25 yds, one ragged hole.

I like it! A guy with me has already decided he will have one built on his 625.

Time will tell, I suppose.
