Looking for recommendations for a good quality scope base for a Supermatic Citation.  Any input is appreciated.

LSP Aluma-Lite Barrel looks like it would be a good solution to keep the original barrel original.

LSP Aluma-Lite Barrel

An excellent barrel.  The dot base below is a piece of Weaver rail adapted to the LSP holes.  Works great

Think that's the way I'll go. Hate to drill and tap the original barrel, it's in beautiful condition.

The price of Dave's (LSP) Alumilite barrel and rail is less than you would pay for a nice shape used citation barrel and better accuracy. Around 200.00 shipped and several ounces lighter. Have several and love them. Just got his rail for my SW 41 and it fits perfect!
