Orbea .22 SV?
What are your thoughts on Orbea brand .22 LR standard velocity ammo? I never heard of it before today, but apparently it's made in Argentina and a company called Zinc Point is selling it for $196.24 (plus tax and shipping) per 2500 rounds, which is a good price if it's decent ammo.
I still have enough CCI SV to last a year or two but I am always looking to extend that supply.

Here's my two cents. I don't know what you're paying for tax and shipping, but a case of CCI standard velocity from Target Sports USA just cost me $521... Which isn't too far off that price, plus it's a known good quality.
And since you say you have enough to last a while, why not give it a year or two and see if the prices come down?
I've never personally even heard of that brand of ammo, and I suppose there's the chance that you might get saddled with a whole bunch of ammo that doesn't shoot well.

And besides, friends don't let friends shoot copper-clad ammo.
