30 Super Carry

What do you think? Could this be the next Bullseye craze? 

Just saw it in Rifleman. In spite of the name, the bullet is the same diameter as the 32 ACP. (.312) Nighthawk has it working in a 1911.

No.  The 30 Super Carry doesn’t fill a niche for bullseye competition. At least not one that isn’t filled by 32 ACP, 32 S&W just as well.  I suppose someone will try it but there’s no real need for it that isn’t served by the 38 Special, 9mm, or the other 32s.

I could see it eventually appearing on the line.  But, for now you can't buy barrels, slides, mags, etc from Nighthawk.  Just complete guns.

It certainly looks interesting, but the last thing I need at this stage of my life is another caliber.

When I asked, Nighthawk quoted me about $50 ($48.95?) for mags alone.
