Bullseye range box accessories

Hello,



I recently purchased a fairly complete bullseye range box.



One thing I noticed is in the bottom rear compartment, there are two metal holders that look like they hold some sort of rod, maybe half to 3/4 inch in diameter.  Does anyone know what this was for or what it was?  The pachmayr boxes I have seen don't have this feature.

Probably to hold a squib rod, or possibly for a CMM steel mounting rod for a brass net.

Are they loose in the box?
They may be hold opens for the lid.

oh wait.  Maybe it's holding the door shut

That's almost assuredly their function.

Ho hum
