Powder price increase

I found some WST from my local supplier a couple of weeks ago, I bought 2 ea. pound containers at $33 ea.  Looked at their web site today, and now it is $43 per pound.  $33 may have been a good deal.

Was $33 in ‘19 also

I do our grocery shopping. Everything has increased in price. Miracle Whip used to be $3.49. Two days ago it was $6.29! However, primer prices have "kicked in the afterburner"!

From a manufacture perspective (day job) freight costs have increased significantly, this adds cost along every process step from raw materials to production, to the retail market. Raw material prices also change for various reasons as well.
