Do all S&W 25's require moon clips?

No I shoot mine without some times mainly when only using one cylinder.  You need a rod to eject the brass.  Don

That could be a misleading question. Model 25-2 are 45acp. The other model 25's are 45 Colt and do not use moon clips.

Moon clips for rapid reloading. Otherwise the seat on The case mouth and need a rod to knock them out.

I use rimmed cases.  I am not sure I would trust ACP brass, crimp, and cylinder to all fit together without clips.
