Has the AMU Started Accurizing the M17?

Have the gunsmiths at the Army Marksmanship Unit started accurizing the M17 (SIG P320) pistol yet? I am curious about the accuracy of the stock pistols and how the AMU is going to turn them into bullseye guns.

I remember when the M9 first became legal for CMP matches and there were doubts about whether the Beretta and the 9×19mm cartridge could ever achieve the accuracy of the M1911/45 ACP combo.

I talked to them about 320s at Perry last year, they claimed they have not been issued any yet to work on/compete with. Hopefully they will have some progress to show this year. I am very happy with the new sidearm, long overdue.

Resurrecting an older thread.

Saw pictures of a 4 1/2 inch group and  1 1/2 inch group that says M17 and M17 National Match.

Has anyone heard what they are doing to accurize an M17?

FWIW: At the last Interservice match, didn't see any M17's on the line. A strong preference for 1911's in .45, with the National Match Beretta as distant second. A solo 320x5 was spotted and that shooter performed well with it and is a familiar name for the action shooting events.
