Chiappa Rhino for DR ? Empty Chiappa Rhino for DR ?

Post by GringoEd 7/31/2012, 8:49 pm

Has anyone shot a Rhino in any Bullseye type competitions and how did the gun perform ?These things are showing up in TV shows (Covert Affairs ) and movies (Total Recall), so I figure it is only a matter of time before someone brings one to a match. I believe they are available in .357 mag. and 9X21 mm.

Chiappa Rhino for DR ? Empty Re: Chiappa Rhino for DR ?

I've shot one, thought not in Bullseye. My impressions were that the double-action was a bit heavy, and the single-action cocker (it isn't the hammer, but essentially a cocking lever, at the back of the frame; the actual hammer is internal) was really awkward to get at one-handed.

I only put a couple cylinderfuls through a friend's Rhino, so I only have limited experience with it. For grins, I might buy one to try out in Bullseye, but I don't really expect much from them...
