2700 Matches around Houston,Tx

Would appreciate any information about where 2700 matches are being held around the Houston area.  I know Bayou Rifles Club lists matches, but their website doesn't mention if non members are allowed to participate.

Ron, thanks for inquiring about our matches. Yes our club, Bayou Rifles, Inc. does hold monthly 2700 matches and non-members are allowed and encouraged to participate. We often have participant from College Station, Austin and other nearby cities. Matches are held on the West side of Houston about 1/2 mile north of I-10 in the Addicks reservoir just off of North Eldridge Parkway. They are held on the 4th Sunday of each month (excluding December) and begins at 9:00AM. Our next match will be held on January 26, 2020. We break for lunch following the conclusion of the center fire match. We offer more than 50 covered firing points in a park-like setting. You can shoot .22 only for all three matches or bring your favorite center fire or .45 for the 2nd and 3rd match. Make sure you bring water or your preferred drink; however, no alcohol is permitted at our ranges. Suggest you contact our match director, Larry Rider larry.rider@ATT.net for additional info. We hold matches in Midland the 4th Saturday of every month, 1800's most of the year but a couple of 2700's thrown in. Not exactly "around Houston" but only about 500 miles...in Texas that's just "up the road a piece". If you're ever in the area you'd be welcome. Friendly folks and we serve lunch at every match (most of us eat better than we shoot).

They hold "lunches" with a free shooting match thrown in.    Actually Midland is one of my favorite places to shoot.  Great range, great people, decent weather normally, and like I said, great lunch!  I'll drive out there a few times next year.

Sounds great, shooting makes me hungry.
