As far as Target Sports goes that’s where I get my stuff from and in Jan my total from them for 5000 was 243 to my door. They are out of stock so that’s why it’s still cheap.

It has always been below 500 bucks. Most of the time it’s 399! Yes it’s more than SV but nowhere near 2000 when I started this post or 1500 that they are asking now!

I never said my pics are of SV Jim and What does SV have to do with anything! I know what I posted!
They are out of stock in SV so they don’t have a picture or price to post! What they have is marked up 4-5 times it’s normal price!

I read after my post. I did not intend to roast any company. I posted the price of 3 companies. Those were the prices at the time I looked, all for CCI SV .

Our local gun shop had an ad yesterday. 6 new AR15 coming in in 30 minutes. With each rifle purchase, we have ONE BOX of 556. We have no other 556 any where.

Maybe a little off topic, but ...

Buy what you want where you want. It is supply and demand. I learned last time, so I am prepared.

There’s no sense obsessing over this or falling prey to these gougers. There’s no place to shoot anyway unless you can shoot at home. Stay calm and safe and ride this out. Buy pellets. You can at least shoot your air pistol in your house or garage.

You live in a free country. You are free not to buy from any place who's price you don't like, or for that matter for any reason. However on the same note you cannot dictate anyone against setting pricing they want. While I agree with you, that actions and pricing set by Cheaper Than Dirt is immoral, and I personally will not do business with this company, I respect its rights. The very same way I respect right of your employer to stop selling certain firearms. I stopped buying pretty much anything at Walmart regardless of price, and I must be hard pressed to work there, but that is my individual choice. Market economy will make it right no matter what, sooner or later!

Actually, in a time of emergency, which has been declared in California, it is illegal to price gouge. There were arrests here in San Diego after a sting operation. It is despicable in my opinion. While ammo isn't truly a necessity, and while it may not be illegal, it is greedy and certainly worth boycotting.

Folks:

Champions choice is showing a nice inventory left as of this afternoon.

I topped off this morning by ordering two more cases. Their shipping is about twice what I would prefer but I just started to reach three full cases on the shelf and I wanted to hedge my inventory so that I don't have to worry like back in 2013. Normal times call for no less than two full cases on the shelf. I use 3 to 4 cases a year.
