Colt Competition Super 38

Any thoughts on a Colt Competition Super 38 for bullseye?

Well, it doesn't have a good bullseye set of sights.
I'm not sure how easy it would be to swap the sights out.

.38 super sounds like fun, but, I know of no champion shooters (bullseye!) that use one. just for reference.

A nice SA RO can be had in 9mm and a .38 super barrel fitted for much less $$

I have yet to shoot my Colt Series 70 Gold Cup Trophy in .38 Super, but I have changed the grips and added a compensator so far. Will only shoot it for fun though anyway. Needed to own a .38 Super, just like I needed a .45 Super, which I also have yet to shoot.

I have one of these in .45 that my pop gave me a few years ago. Should trade it but due to sentimental reasons I am going to keep it. Pretty nice pistol and the one I have is far better put together than my Gold Cup. As said above, the sights are the big problem. I bought one of the Bunker Arms Nomar conversion bases to eventually get the rear sight changed out to an adjustable style.
