Steve here...Finally found a P240 last week and made a takedown too for it out of Delrin... It won't scratch the end of the slide.

Excellent job on the tool.
I use a small paper clip. Just slip a paper clip over the recoil spring rod by slightly pulling the slide back and release it. Pull the breech lock lever to the left and pull it out. Works like a charm.
