Scatt scores vs live ammo scores
For those that train with a scatt; are your live fire scores better, worse, or about the same?

About the same.
Although, I don't use SCATT for scoring. The power of SCATT is in the feedback on your shot process and what exactly you are doing right. When you perform the shot correctly, your SCATT traces look similar from shot to shot, reinforcing your confidence in your shot process. Also, SCATT helps you with immediate feedback when you work on individual fundamentals - trigger control, gripping, sight alignment, follow-through.
However, seeing that 10.7 or 10.9 mark in a middle of a round trace with a good follow-through is satisfying

Actually better. I find the real gun a bit more forgiving than the SCATT especially the larger calibers. Seems to be that the SCATT treats everything like an Air Pistol, an inherently twitchy gun.Merick wrote:For those that train with a scatt; are your live fire scores better, worse, or about the same?
But like Oleg, The scoring with the SCATT is not the important part. It is learning to recognize bad technique, and teach you to put the gun down rather than take bad shots,
