Ammo of choice for marvel conversion

Put my marvel conversion of many years on the ransom rest the other day and got some interesting results.

My objective was to determine if I should continue to use CCI standard or switch to Wolf MT or Aguila SE (old eley primed)

The gun consistently shot 1.3-1.5" 50yd groups with everything, there was barely a discernible difference between the 3 types of ammo. I did a minimum of 5 'settling shots' between each ammo change.

My take-away from the session is that I might as well just keep blasting away with the cheap CCI SV. If some ultra expensive ammo cuts my groups down to sub-inch, is it really worth 2x the money?

Cheap CCI SV has shot many cleans thru many conversions thru the years.

My old Marvel shoots pretty much anything well including Aguila pistol match

Mine loves the old CCI SV...also the SK Pistol Match.  Haven't tried other recipes in it except the new CCI SV, which it doesn't feed/eject as well.
