Does the Hammerli 280 use a buffer and should it be replaced over time? Where is it I can’t find it on my 22 or 32 slides.

Greetings,

The "buffer" is in the frame. You slip out the trigger group and the two buffers are easily accessed for inspection.

Keep your recoil springs fresh and the buffers with last a long time.
