Repairing Breech Face on Hammerli 208

Interesting to note is that is also carries a Walther Part Number?

I just received a box of Haemmerli 280 spares from the above and many of them had both Haemmerli and Walther part numbers. Hopefully Walther will continue to offer replacement parts.

The 208's I have worked on did not have replaceable breech faces. The entire slide would have to be replaced for an eroded breechface. 
I have not seen a replaceable version, but that certainly doesn't mean they don't exist.
Is it like a S&W 41?

similar to a 41 but it is not the full breech face. only the back 3/4
