I really like the ultradot except nobody makes a sunshade. I also have a gen2 ultradot with 2 moa dot that I equally like and it has a sunshade

To make quick n easy shade tubes measure (preferably in mm) the OD of the tubular extremity front and back. Look on Amazon or eBay for carbon fiber tube. Order the one with the closest slightly larger ID to match your OD. Easy to cut to your preferred length with a Dremel. Wheel. Watch out for very sharp slivers. Use Green Loctite to hold the tubes in place.
