PM or MP - icon label.

I've often wondered why the little icon below a posters name on the right hand side of a thread states "MP" to send a Private Message. Is there a reason for it not to be labelled PM?

I always thought "MP" was the way I contacted my Minister in Parliament.

Actually, you have been away from the UK for even longer than me, MP stands for Member of Parliament.

As opposed to your PM (Prime Minister!).
