KYGUNCO is selling primers by the case of 5000. The price is in line for the times but at least your Hazardous material cost are getting spread out over five bricks and not just one.

They had them for maybe an hour.  I watched the number in stock drop like a rock.  I don't know how many they started with, but I'm guessing a hundred or so cases.  Now, if they could just get Large Pistol at this price.

At least the prices are coming down a bit

The thing is, be careful on the brownells website. It wouldnt let me order more then one hazmat item at a time.

And no

9mm ammunition uses small pistol, small pistol magnum and some have even used small rifle primers.  Not much difference in my groups or chronograph results with small pistol or small pistol magnum primers.

45acp NORMALLY uses large pistol, but like 9mm, using the magnum version has no noticeable effect.

Now for the "GOTCHA".  Some 45acp ammo has been made with small pistol primers.  If you don't sort those out, you may end up with a kaboom on your press.

the problem with dealers that sell limited quantities of primers, is that a hazmat
and shipping fee soon blows the actual price up by $40 or more, so a 84.99 sale
becomes a $124.99 purchase.

The Augila primers work fine and go bang just like all the rest.
