I have short roll triggers and like them. My explanation is, it's not the take up or slack with no movement of the sear. It is the trigger moving the sear on the hammer hooks that is probably 3-3.5 lbs that gives you the pressure while keeping your sights steady and you pretty much know when that hammer falls. They sure help me.
