Shipping Strong Case Boxes

I have several Strong Case Range boxes that I am considering selling.  I’m curious how everyone ships these when selling them.  Checking UPS or USPS it’s like $100-$150 to ship these things.  Is there a better/cheaper alternative?

It should be around $40 to ship. Shipping goes by cubic inches and weight. Destination plays a part also if the shipper has a hub nearby. I use GoShippo for work and gives you the cheapest way to ship out of the big 3. Example a 14lb rifle in a 53 inch box is about $40.

I shipped just short of two thousand boxes over 30 years.  When I quit in 2020, it was like $60 to ship coast-to-coast from CA, more to Florida and Vermont.

It definitely helps to have a account with shipper of your choice, but still varies based on your location and the  destination. Yes it is expensive to ship the range boxes.

I use pirateship.com for labels - they give discount rates for usps and UPS. I shipped a Dillon press for $35 using them.
