The perfect Wife

Post by LenV on Tue Dec 20, 2016 2:34 pm

First topic message reminder :

Last year at this time we had a similar post that we talked about the neat things we got for Christmas. I know this post comes a little early but the timing felt right today. My wife earlier this year asked me if I planned to buy anything special "for myself" for the season. I replied that there were a couple of guns I really wanted but I was flat out of room in the safe and didn't feel like selling anything just to make room. Imagine my surprise when a freight truck showed up today with a new safe. That is the definition of a "Perfect Wife" Very Happy

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

My wife said she found it on eBay! I think it's old! The back side has a steel ring ring on it and it's tarnished pretty well. Other than that it's in great shape!

I have one of those that my Dad had when he was stationed at Fort Benning in the late 50's shooting on the Army pistol team and smithing in the AMU.  Still works great for us electrincally challenged.

Since I love myself so much I picked up some reloading room wall art.   Artist used a CAT scan machine to do some firearms.

Well, it was going to be an LP50 compact with the 1911 style weighted grips. Pilkguns were happy enough to take the order - they just kinda forgot that they didn't have any and don't actually know when they're getting some. 'Maybe a few weeks' was the answer after we'd inquired where the errant item was.

To their credit they didn't charge the card unlike some dealerships I could mention.

Ah well. a late present is better than no present.

Champion Easy Bird clay thrower with cart.  Some of us punish ourselves shooting too many disciplines!
