Canadian Bullseye Shooters Empty Canadian Bullseye Shooters

Wondering what firearm Canadian shooters us for cf matches.  I lived in Woodbridge two years but did not research this while there. The Mounties would not let me bring in my T/C in 32/20 caliber because anything with 32 in the name was evil and totally outlawed in Canada.  So you can't use the Walther, Bernellis, Pardinis, etc. Is there any Olympic type fire arm in a caliber you can use on the same frame?

I'm only able to find 32 calibers in my searching and wondering if there is an alternative.

I guess the other question might be, how does Canada compete in the olympic pistol shooting sports?

Thanks,

This is a list of handguns that are excluded from their "prohibited" list, that can be used for competition.

Thank you.

It looks like the Pardini 32 acp is banned but all the s&w 32 longs are good.

When I was checking my guns in, the mountie gave me the impression that any caliber with 32 in the name was banned.

Thanks again,

Harry

The Mounties always get their man, but it doesn’t mean they they have any more sense than any other cop.

Hi,
For ISSF centerfire, I see a lot of Pardini and Walther GSP in 32 S&W. I also see a lot of revolvers, model 14, 586/686 or gp100, but the barrel has to be at least 106mm, or 4.2".

At Canadian NRA bullseye matches, you'll see the same firearms, plus 1911s.
