Scope adjustment 25/50 yd.

About how many clicks does it take to go from 25 to 50yd.
with a U-dot? What about with Iron sights, do most adjust the same from
one brand to the next and what does a click with Irons equal?

You didn't specify which caliber or what kind of iron sights you are using. For a 1911, I usually add about 5 clicks with my UltraDot up from my 25 yard setting with .45 ACP reloads.

4 clicks up for 50 yards assuming a 1911 .45 with mild reloads. This is for an Ultradot - I use a slightly hotter load in my ball gun for 50 yards and don't move the sights.

I've only used Bo Mar, Kensight and Elliason. They all appear to be pretty much the same. What brand of sight are you using?

Bo-Mar style is what's on the gun at this time.

You can't do any better than a Bo Mar IMHO. IIRC the bullet should move about 1/2" at 50 yards with each click.
