Looking for 22 conversion

got to shoot a Nelson at practice today. Yea. Fell in love. The back log on the nelsons is kind of long and I’m like a little kid that wants his toys now.

Do I order the Nelson or can I get the same accuracy out of a advantage arms target model?

I’m all ears

AND. if someone has one or the other they no longer want or need I’m in the market.

Post a WTB in section for a lightly used one. I just helped a buddy get an entire 22 lower with nelson upper in under a day. If you gotta have bramd new then you'll have to get creative.

Be patient. It's worth the wait. Order a frame for your dedicated lower while you're waiting.

I suggest you put your name on the list for a Nelson. Then try and find a advantage arms model to try. If they are the same to you then buy one. I'm sure they are similar but nobody here has said they are the same.

I’m not sure I care if thy are the same. I am sure I care if the AA is as accurate as th Nelson.  I’d love to get a dedicated lower for it but after the 9000sc on the way and the holidays I,m tapped. Lol

The Nelson has a steel shroud, AA is aluminum so it's lighter, if that makes a difference to you.

I have both. other than the weight due to the aluminum, they work equally well and are accurate.

get the AA, get on the Nelson list, in 8 -15 weeks when the Nelson's ready, sell the AA if your not completely happy.

Have you considered Marvel Precision's Unit 1 conversion?  If you're in a hurry may be worth a phone call to see what they have in stock.  Aesthetics and weight are different than Nelson but accuracy is solid.
