Where to get a good occluder
Every so often, especially if I'm tired, when I look at the sights with my right eye, I get distracted by what the left eye is seeing. This link leads to a possible solution - is there a better choice?

Yes, the white one....
I attach mine to the center of the bill of my cap. set up your gun hold and with the other hand slide it over till you think your shooting thru the middle of it and your all set.

I use a white one attached to my glasses. I’ve been wanting to try attaching it to my hat but I keep my hat bent narrow and it didn’t work well. I need to try a non-beat up hat.

Re: Where to get a good occluder
If you're cheap, like me, a piece of matte scotch tape on the lens of the non aiming eye works great.

There's usually some buff colored pasters floating around.
They don't stick to the lens really well but don't leave residue.

Re: Where to get a good occluder
I don't really want to be adding something to my glasses, removing it, replacing, over and over. Maybe I'll try the concept out with something clipped to my hat.
It's a bigger problem for me than others, as I have diplopia. My eyes don't work together, they work as a pair. My brain blocks out the irrelevant information (most of the time). It's like I have two independent cameras, and can use one or the other, as I wish.
Maybe I'll just put a piece of "bubble wrap" wrapped around my left lens.

Re: Where to get a good occluder
Mike, I purchased the exact one you show, from Amazon. Free shipping. I got the opaque one, more light. Inexpensive and works great.
I put them on a spare pair of glasses, so don’t take them on/off.

Not sure how to get them with free shipping, unless I order more things to bring the total up. Thanks. I will buy 'white' as all of you have suggested.

this, or the stuff you get in the hospital/doctors office,
lets the light in, but can't see diddly thru it

Letting light into non-shooting eye will keep shooting eye from dilating.lyman1903 wrote:Chris Miceli wrote:piece of scotch tape works great, the frosty kind not transparent

Re: Where to get a good occluder
I used to use the flip type until I forgot to bring it to a match. In a pinch I used a piece of Scotch tape like was mentioned by a few others. I never used the flip type again. The tape allows better air flow and gives me less issues with fog-up.

Re: Where to get a good occluder
I have a very side on stance and my offside eye is really looking almost over the bridge of my nose. I trimmed a triangular piece off mine so it follows the shape of my eye glass lens and fits to the side of my nose. A simple pair of scissors and a little sand paper worked well for the job.
If you shoot ISSF events be aware you will need to cut the blinder down significantly to comply with their rules too.
