Convert Kimber 45 to 9mm?

Curious what’s involved in procuring a second upper for my Kimber in 9mm? Any issues I should be aware of? I will keep the 45 upper as-is and build/buy a dedicated upper in 9...

Slide stop?

9mm uses different ejector and slide stop.

My Caspian frames have different feed ramps. Have to identify the caliber when ordering. Plus most people use a supported chamber in 9 and unsupported in 45. Usually not a swap out kind of setup for bullseye.

Different frame feed ramp angles.

It can be done but it is quite pricey.  I believe Jon Eulette has built one previously; he would be the authority here.

45 feedramp works fine for 9mm. 
9mm slide, 9mm barrel, 9mm ejector, 9mm extractor, 9mm slidestop.
You don’t need a ramped barrel for 9mm. 
I build many like this a year.

Jon what do think of that slide on eBay?

In my experience any time something has been fit or built by a non-gunsmith it usually is less than desirable. Now I do know some guys out there that can build excellent quality guns that are not gunsmiths but that’s a different story. This slide has been fit to a frame which now means the slide rails are undersized and potentially could be loose on your frame.  Also you run the risk of the barrel not making good contact on your slides stop pin. It also has Novak sites which are less than desirable and cannot be easily replaced with a Bomar type sight. So if it was me I would personally pass on it if you’re wanting a true Bullseye quality 38 super.
