Bob's Bullets - 45 ACP 160gn SWC
First topic message reminder :
Anyone have any experience with the 45 ACP 160gn SWC bullet from
Bob's Bullets out of Tallmadge, Ohio ?
Do they shoot as well/as accurate as the Dardas 160gn ?
How is customer service?
I would like to find a replacement for the Dardas 160 if I can.

Any production caster using Magma machines?
Coated vs lubed, and maybe the alloy would be the only difference.
I went back to the 200 for reasons I no longer remember. Maybe the 160 needed a snappier load to cycle reliably?

Same profile Bob's used to sell. Much cleaner with the coating.https://www.brazosprecision.com/45-160gr-Button-NoseFlat-BaseGroove-644ct-0088bullet_p_52.html

For a metallic gun with a 15lb spring, 3.8gr of N310 is what I'm going with for the short line.
3.6gr will function pretty reliably, but the accuracy is crap even at 25y.

I have and tried the Brazos, the group was about 5""
I will probably shoot them on the short line to get rid of them.
