Those of you who have used pistol scopes in the past, or still do - what are some affordable or budget scopes that will hold up to a 357 Mag?

Bushnell has worked fine for my deer hunting 357 revolver

I used a cheap Tasco 4x that we had laying around when I did accuracy testing on my distinguished revolver.

I have a Leupold 2x on my 44 mag Ruger Blackhawk.  I have taken deer and wild boar with that combination.

Not many new LER scopes to choose from these days.  I found a used LER 2-6X Bushnell Elite I mounted on my 986 5" 9mm for 50 yd paper punching.  Works very well and is stable with Leupold mounts.  I'd shy away from rail mounts as they are fairly flimsy to stabilize a heavy scope with high recoil.  IMHO.
