Be-86 Powder/ Large Magnum pistol primers

Hi folks.

Local gun shop has 5,000 large magnum pistol primers and about 10 pounds of BE-86 powder.

Has anybody used these to load 45acp rounds?

I’m down to my last 1000 primers and 3 pounds of Bullseye.

Have brass and bullets.

At the end of the thread user name BEA posts. He works/worked at Alliant. He's a HM, 4 or 5 distinguished badges and was a national team member so I would say he knows things.

How about large mag primers?

I don't think it matters much in pistol rounds. load to make 770fps.


Winchesters are considered as hot as magnums, they don't even make a magnum, and they are very popular with BE shooters. I've never used anything else.
