Do you have a backup bullseye gun (rimfire and/or centerfire)?

Back-up Gun? Empty Back-up Gun?

A question I was thinking of tonight and thought it would be a fun poll. I have another .22 and a cheap Kahr 1911 I could throw a grip mount on but I never bring them to matches.

I always brought my Hardball gun for a 45 backup before I had another wad gun built.

For 22's, when all I shot was the Ruger MKII, no. When I shot the Hi Stnd, the Ruger was always the backup. Now that I'm trying out the Marvel, the Ruger will still be the backup.

I just started shooting this year. I use a Mark 111 for matches. I bought a back up which is a 22/45. I really haven't decided on centerfire for our spring league but I'll probably use my R1 and back it up with a Beretta. Yiogo

My carry gun is a compact 1911. If I have a failure with my match gun, I have a recoil spring that works with my match ammo. Even though I don't shoot it as well as my match gun, it's better than taking a zero.
