W231 and temperature changes
Finally have a Winchester 231 load that works in my K frame revolver. I'm in upstate NY with temps right now in the 50's, would there be any velocity changes be in the MidWest with temps in the 70's and 80's next month?
Thanks

Loaded 56,041 with 231 and 34,147 with HP-38 never had any problems with temp change between 7 and 107 degrees.
231 and HP-38 are the same powder just different labels.

I think someone is going to Bianchi. I'll see you there. Are you shooting the Michigan Regional and State Championships too? They are the 21-22 of May.Upper40 wrote:Finally have a Winchester 231 load that works in my K frame revolver.
