.45acp Sig Sauer brass
Has anyone tried reloading with Sig Sauer brass? What was your experience and thoughts?

Not really a fan personally. Seemed to get case splits after 2-3 firings.

I have used the Sig brass in 300wm with no compaints, I would compare it with Hornady brass.

9mm did not resize sufficiently to hold in bullets. Have no such issues with Starline.

Hello,
Some Sig cartridge cases, 9mm Parabellum being the most common, are actually brass plated steel. They look fine but in reality are far from it. I would be very cautious.

I have some (45) that I have loaded a few times. Seem o-k to me. I'm cheap, I pick up range brass.

For 9mm range pickup I always pass a magnet across the pile to find these. I also find that there are makers that use steps internally even in brass. So each has to be inspected for that too.spursnguns wrote:Hello,

Watch out for Norma 9mm brass. Flash hole is so small de cap pin will not pass through.
