Re: SP primers - argentina?
Hey Russ
I ordered three bricks the other day. That's just enough to get free shipping. I put them in the cart and didn't finish the order, then few hours later they sent an email with a 10% off code. They ended up as $56 a brick shipped with the code. I'll take a gamble at that price. Hopefully they work well. I am playing with small primer .45 acp to conserve my large primers.

I just ordered 3000. I'll use them for 9mm to try them out.8at4 wrote:Hey Russ

I am trying your technique. They haven't sent me the code yet.

I ordered some as well. No shipping info yet. 8a4, I did get an email for 5% off but not 10%. I’m betting these primers don’t last long.

They finally got back with me. 10% off. No shipping or hazmat but charged me tax. $179 out the door. I have a lot of small rifle primers but it takes a little extra shove to seat them in small pistol brass.

Re: SP primers - argentina?
I got the 5% discount code in my email AFTER I made the first purchase of primers. Was not going to let
the discount code go to waste so I made a second order and used the code. It ended being a great price on primers with no shipping or hazmat charges, only state tax added.
They are already shipped using FEDEX
As advertised on NormaShooting site, the primers were already discounted 10% to $62.10 per thousand.
I will be able to warm up my model 52 and model 14 now.

Thanks Russ for the link. I just ordered 3 bricks too. Did like someone else and left them in cart overnight. The sent the 10% discount today and it was already applied when I went back to complete the order.
Yeah, it is way more than we used to pay but the free shipping and no hazmat really makes it better.
Need to find a deal on Lg pistol and Lg rifle primers.

Re: SP primers - argentina?
The Argentine primers from Norma arrived very quickly and well packaged. I fired ten of them today in a 1911 model 9MM pistol with an 18 lb mainspring. Too dang cold outside here in Ohio to spend more time shooting. All ten of them fired reliably and with good accuracy. Maybe that is too few rounds to draw any conclusions but I have no problem continuing to use them. And they were a great price too.Russ OR wrote:At Norma site

Re: SP primers - argentina?
I got mine yesterday. 50% fired DA and 50% went bang the second time on SA in an L-frame with a 7# DA. A Security-Six 9# (DA) went 5 out of 6 DA. I will try them in a 1911 in a day or two.
Today I fired a mag through a Sig X5, all fired, accuracy seemed to be as good as Winchester.

I ordered 3 boxes as well. Haven’t loaded any yet, but they look good.
Any idea if they make a large pistol primer? I went on the Norma site, and there appears to be nothing for primers (in stock or otherwise). Like this deal never even happened.

May have been a once in a while sale, but I am glad they did it. Used 150 so far without any problems.

They had LPP, too. I order 3,000 to get free shipping on Thursday last week. They arrived on Sunday. Very fast.
